Silica gel/crystal cat litter's main component is SiO2, which is white granular in appearance. Silica gel cat litter's adsorption capacity is 5 times that of ordinary cat litter, leading to less consumption and less waste. It inhibits bacteria growth and provides strong deodorization, making it easy to clean.
Commonly called crystal litter, it is produced from quartz sand mixed with water and oxygen. This creates tiny pores that can hold approximately 40 times their weight in fluid. Odors stay trapped within the hollow channels while moisture evaporates.
