Bentonite cat litter is made from natural bentonite minerals, which can absorb water and expand quickly when exposed to urine, forming firm and hard clumps that do not easily disperse. This quick clumping feature makes it easy for the pooper scooper to clean up, just scoop out the clumped part.
Bentonite clay particles have a porous structure on the surface, which can effectively absorb and lock odor molecules. With some upgraded products with activated charcoal or fragrance, the deodorising ability is further enhanced.
